In your typical Port arrogance your suggesting that he is too good for Frankston !

Well he is a very good player and I believe if he settles with Frankston then he will be underachieving (unless Frankston becomes a significantly better side).

It was more a compliment on the player rather than a put down on Frankston. As my 2nd favorite club I hope Frankston does well.

Port Melbourne has done it again - what have they done again i hear you ask ? They have made another giant signing - (literally) by signing 209 cm Ole Angerstein. Ole ads to the list of several talls that Port has signed in the off season and is the tallest player since the signing of 213cm Charlie Kelso in 2017.

Ole shows alot of promise as he finished 2nd in the WRFL division 2 best and fairest in his debut season last year whilst also playing with North Hobart in the Tasmanian state league. Not sure how that works (playing for two clubs, one of  which is interstate in the same season) but nevertheles to finish 2nd in the league in a debut season in a sport that he has only picked up is a very impressive effort. I can hear the soccer chants on the Ports Hardiman Hill already - OLEEEEEEEEE OLEEEEEEEEE OLEEEEEEEEEE OLEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, OLE - OLE - OLEEEEEEEEEE OLEEEEEEEEE OLEEEEEEEEEEE, OLE OLE - send me a message if you can't remember the words ! :)

Digs will be disappointed at the lack of ex-AFL listed talent being signed at the Borough, but it looks like Ayres and the crew have really targeted who they are after to cover key deficiencies.  This will be a solid ruck option, with Tom Goodwin having an injury plagued season in 2019 and an aging body, Michael Wenn could certainly use some help in the middle this season.

Could not give a fat rat's about  the ex AFL players NorthPort & neither should you judging by the  quality duds you have recruited in the past. !!

Well Digs, Dan Connors is rumoured to be rewiring to the club. He had a strong season at Port in 2014 but missed a good part of the middle of the season when he cut his hand moving house on a shattered mirror.

My concern(s) would be age and time away from the elite level.

Was a very good player NorthPort but does carry a bit of baggage.

Not the sort of player I'd be looking for !

Elli Templeton, Robbie Nahas, Sam Dwyer, Jordan Lisle, Brodi Murdoch all of those quality ex AFL duds as you kindly put it made a great contribution to Port winning their 17th premiership.
