Crowd support in 2020

I am having a few issues with the voting poll function on the website so I have removed it for the time being.

However, I am interested to know (assuming crowds are allowed) whether we will see a resurgence in crowd numbers, particularly given less conflict with local footy comps this year.  I think we could be in for bumper crowds.

Perhaps a cheaper membership option for first time sign-ups could really boost the finances of clubs.

The cheaper membership option is a great idea!

The vfl will get decent crowds. No efl, nfl, being in isolation for months crowds will go.

To get decent crowds thre will need to be an high profile advertising campaign.  I dont think people from recessed local leagues have much affinity with the VFL clubs.

If the locals have no footy to go they will be eager to watch a footy game somewhere. Ch7 or 7mate will televise vfl. As for coburg it was out of bounds for 2020.  Ground renovations including the surface. Yes agree the vfl and each of the clubs will have to start putting the word out to hopefully get good crowd support.

I think crowds will be better than usual for a few reasons.

A marginal increase from fans that would be normally watching their other leagues

Less games so people will try and make the most of this opportunity as well as waiting a long time to watch their sides.

Better weather due to the season being played later in the year. Last year v Box Hill we had a 30 degree day and fans came out in good numbers.
