I believe Billy its even harder now as the stand alones can only pay 200k max for player payments therefore you can't get players training with you as often, 3 nights per week becomes 2 nights vs the full timers. Williamstown of course is disproving this theory and good on them.

THE VFLS MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB - THE MIGHTY PORT MELBOURNE BOROUGH!
I'M PORT MELBURNE BORN, I'M PORT MELBOURNE BRED, I'LL BE PORT UNTIL I'M DEAD!!!
Reckon there might be a couple of posters asking for sauce on their humble pies after today🤣
Essendon's loss to North today certainly puts Frankston's loss at Windy Hill into perspective eh.
Billy is right, either put wins on the board or the crowds will dwindle. Fortunately we're so starved that this season is already a success lol.
Hopefully plans are in place to continue building the team. We're nowhere near good enough yet, but we're making progress and that's certainly something.
I see Sandy knocked of Aspley in OLD Interesting that Ratten after the St Kilda thrashing last night said in his presser that some high profile players in the ones will be dropped so it will be also interesting to see if they put in at the Zebras!
He did refer to Sandy as the "twos" all the time, typically disrespectful but what else would you expect from that rabble
Casey 12-13(85) def Sydney 6-9(45)
if you were following game on VFL App the Champion Data had a bad day with lots of mistakes.
Majak Daw and Ben Brown both very quiet today
Great crowd there today great support for the Swans
Werribee 27-21(183) def Nth Bullants 3-5(23)
Werribee's biggest win in their history (Prev.137pts vs Oakleigh at Werribee Round 16 1992)
Biggest margin in any VFL game since Round 17 2017 by Port Melb vs Coburg at North Port
Sadly I think the novelty's worn off
Its very hard to build a team to VFL standard in one season!Lets hope the people behinf Preston hold tight as it will take some time!
