Port Melbourne released tickets early to members. The crowd limit of 1000 should be reached easily for another classic Port v Willy encounter.

Possibly Port's strongest side for the season and are a good chance to even the ledger from the start of the season!

I like your positive nature Northport. I mentioned to VFA this was the first time ever that Ive tipped against Port and its mainly because our delivery inside 50 seems to often be without purpose and our forward line seems unable to capitalise when delivery is good. Last match saw our inside 50s count only 2 less than Carlton with a 15 point loss. Similar situation with GWS and other games.

I say Williamstown by 34 points.

GWS V Sydney, now shifted to Collingwood's Holden Centre, with the teams made up from the extended travelling squads and NAB U19 teams!

Collingwood 9.3-57 to Frankston 5.6-36 at half time. Dreadful footy, lots of basic handling errors and poor defensive clearances from both sides. After a mostly even half Frankston fell right away in the last ten minutes.

Really disappointing effort from the Dolphins today, against what was really an understrength and undersized Collingwood. Perfect conditions for footy at Olympic Park, yet the boys made a massive number of handling errors and honestly never looked like stringing a period of good footy together. Big wake up call in terms of where we're at. I'm still very pleased with the progress of quality on the list, but we have a way to go before finals are a possibility.

Ports game may be a sell out now as the club announced a few hours ago that their was not many tickets left. For those that cant make it you can find a youtube livestream at https://m.youtube.com/watch?fbclid=IwAR0JFQR-FEwTWpHEOCcPAjbRxGDe-d0SHTw...

A former prominent player will be a special inclusion in the livestream- i say its Toby Pinwall.

Very lacklustre performance from Frankston against moderate opposition. Bruise free footy at its best, with Frankston only laying 43 tackles for the day. No chasing, no bumping, no harassing. Very worrying signs.

Some big 'outs' certainly affected them, Fordham and Lambert are VFL A graders and Styles missing from the backline was huge. On top of that, although he got plenty of the ball Freeman didnt look 100% fit to me.

The backline was in disarray again, no structure, no plan and nearly every time Collingwood went into its forward 50 they scored or got a shot at goal. There is no stat available for it, but the number of uncontested marks for Collingwood inside their forward 50 would have been massive. As good as he was in the midfield I would liked to have seen Newman playing in defence. They desperately need some toughness, leadership and skill there.

Danny Ryan has got some thinking to do with a few of his players who are not contributing, and has been the case for most of the year with the four I am thinking of. Does he perservere or get rid of them or blood a few kids who aren't ready? I guess with finals footy still possible he will push on.

Footscray keep on winning, though they didn't have it all their own way against Coburg. McComb and Sullivan continue to lead the way amongst the VFL listed guys.

Coburg kicking for goal, some bad disposals, butchering the ball as well as movement through the forward line were the difference. In and under the ball coburg more than matched the dogs. Coburg got within 12 points middle of the last quarter but a couple of errors and turnovers proved costly. Coburg should have finished much closer and margin did not do justice. Lions are on the right track and they can definitely start winning games on the back end of the season. They return to coburg city oval next week against Carlton.
