Huge game for the Borough to keep our slim finals chances alive!  McComb and Green are good inclusions and if we bring the same endeavour and work rate as last week, we are right in with a chance.

Another premiership favourite knocked off by the Borough!  Never headed from the first bounce, Port managed to hold on for a famous win.  Port have now knocked off Williamston, Geelong and Box Hill, all who are in premiership contention.

It was a nail biting last quarter but there was some tough and gritty footy played throughout.  I thought Kyle Viccars was instrumental, along with a dominating first half by Billy Gowers and a classy four quarter effort from 100 gamer, Captain Harvey Hooper.

* It's time to restore the VFA name.

Is their any more exciting and evenly contest in modern day VFL than Port ? Ladt two years weve seen 2 draws, several games within 2 goals, even in 21 when they were several ladder position higher than us they only won on the last kick of the day. Your almost guaranteed to get a exciting game when these two play.

This is an old post Digs from 2008. Check the clubs he played for. You can probably add more to this as he would have played for a few more clubs after this post.

John McNamara has played for an amazing seventeen clubs. He is currently playing for St Kilda City. Clubs played for include North Melbourne as a 16 year old (picked up instead of Leon Cameron), Geelong, Essendon, West Adelaide, North Adelaide, Griffith (played one game), Happy Valley, Port Melbourne, Box Hill, Epping, back to Port melbourne, Rochester, Seymour, Bendigo Diggers, Moonee Valley, Berwick, Seymour and now at St Kilda City who play at the peanut farm. Amazing. Must collect footy jumpers. He is 36 years old and would have a few years left and a few clubs at that. Should reach twenty different clubs.
