The first practice match of the season for both sides gets underway tomorrow at Mars (Eureka) Stadium in Ballarat.
Port have selected the following side (attached).
The game is now going to be streamed live for those unable to make the long trip out to Ballarat. I am hoping to get there, but may be relying on the stream due to looking after the kids.
Digs, I hope you are getting along to cheer on the Borough!

I thought Port had already had a practice match? Frankston had one against Werribee last week.
Looking forward to tomorrow. We've made the trip up and are staying in Ballarat for two nights.
Where’s the stream ?

The link was up top of this thread. Did it not work? I decided to go to the game after all.
A good hit-out from both sides and both teams moved the ball really well at times.
Charlie Lazzaro had a ton of the ball for Port. The Borough came back from a 3 goal deficit at 3/4 time and posted a narrow win.
Kuol Mun also performed well both on the rich and around the ground. He could be a very handy addition for the Borough.
Quite a healthy crowd for such a remote game for both sides.

I watched it, and the Willi v Coburg game
I tried YouTube snd then later on saw the link. Digs what were your thoughts on the game? Any stand outs and do you still think we will win it ? 🏆

NorthPort, It is NOT a long trip to Ballarat.
Closer to Ballarat than it is to Frankston.
Enjoyed the game & it was great to catch up with some old Port identities.
like Peter Saultry, Jasonborough, Brad, Paul Amy etc. All looking fit & well.
Disapointed Mega wasn't anywhere to be seen, Had some trophies to show him.
Missed a quarter due to Grand kids basketball also missed Cameron unfortunately.
Thought the game was first class with Frankston taking it to Port all day & should be right up there this year.
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
Good to see you turn up mate, hopefully we see you support your old club from close a few more times this season ! Where we finishing this year Digs ?

Reckon we're certainties Mega !
As long as those big names on & off the field don't send us broke as I'm sure they are not there because the like the colour of the jumper

G'day Digs, yeah Cameron, Mark (and his son) and I (with two kids in tow) all left at the same time post-game.
Still plenty of experienced players to come into the side in the coming weeks, so Box Hill on Friday night should be a really good test to see where we are at as well.
Agree that Frankston are a good side and should do well again in 2025.
