·1 This was Geelong's 150th all time match. Their record now stands at 81 wins, 69 losses, 0 Draws.
·2 M. Marigliani (Frankston) reported for attempting to trip J. Cloke (Bendigo Bombers) in the 1st quarter
·3 B. Hughes (North Ballarat) for striking J. Anderson (Northern Bullants)
·4 C. Lamb (Sandringham) for striking D. Limbach (Williamstown) in the 2nd quarter
·5 Two AFL captains played in the same TRUenergy VFL match. Tom Harley (Geelong) and Richie Vandenberg (Hawthorn) both played in the Geelong v Box Hill match.
·6 The 39-strong Victorian squad got through last weekend with a clean bill of health and no squad member is on report.
·7 According to rule 4.3, if a match is delayed for a ``reasons beyond the control of the club’’, teams can leave the field for up to 30 mins. If a match is unable to recommence within the 30 mins, the game is drawn if before half-time. But if the game has progressed past half time, the scores of the clubs at the time of the initial delay stand as the final result.

·14 Port’s Bo Nixon returns from a six-game suspension for his 50th VFL match in R8.
·15 Northern Bullants Josh Houlihan plays his 100th game in R9 against Frankston.
