How did you spend Anzac Day 2007?
Just wondering how people spent their Anzac Day today? I was at the MCG for the Essendon vs Collingwood AFL game with 90507 others. Did you go to Box Hill to watch the VFL game or anything else that happened like go to races or spend time with the famil.

Dawn Service organised by the Berwick RSL Club at Narre Warren, followed by a public breakfast provided by Narre Warren Rotary Club in the City of Casey Council Chambers for people attending. Later in the day, lunch with friends at the G, followed by the Essendon v Collingwood clash. Finally to the gym to work off the lunch and afternoon tea.

Slow morning, breaky in bed with Ash (my wife), played with little Molly (my daughter), headed out to Box Hill v Coburg with my housemate Wazza, met up with my brother and his other half +1, didn't enjoy the match too much, then had a gig in at the Paris Cat in Little Bourke. Just got home!

Saw the game at Box Hill with my two sons. Big crowd, but very subdued, I thought. Why was that? One sided game? Lots of theatregoers? Richmond and Hawthorn supporters not really caring too much?

Incredibly lacklustre, though the match never reached anything close to exciting! The crowd at city oval never seems to get going until there's a bad decision in front of the outer. But it was more so . . . my brother hadn't been to Box Hill for a bit, but he was there and said it seemed a lot flatter than it used to. There was a better atmosphere with 400 in the grandstand at Port Melbourne last week than 4,000 there on Wednesday. Crowd looked good though!
