Ok, I understand that with the alignment Richmond players are always going to be the beneficaries of spots in Coburgs senior team but after going to the game on the weekend I find it hard to beleive that Rayson and Darby were left out of a side that was clearly not the BEST 22 that could have taken the track yesterday. To leave young in and Rayson out is a joke as 2 weeks ago Rayson was in the best in the ones, young hasn't been in the best at all for the 2's. I've been to a lot of 2's games the last 2 years and seen many players not been given a go. The likes of Randello, Crotty, Faraj and the two mentioned Darby and Rayson continually playing good footy and not getting a senior game. I'm rapt to see Darby get senior games this year but when he did he didn't get much game time. When he was on he did well, and yet the likes of Gilmour and Raines get more gametime. It would be interesting to see how much time the coburg boys would get if they had an AFL contract?. Talking to Dean Mighell the other day there are big raps on those two but I reckon if there not given the oportunity aswell as many others you'll find them leaving at the end of the year. I would be very interested what other people think of these two and others who aren't getting a game and how you see coburg travelling for the rest of the year.
