Skilled Stadium
Body:
Well, the TAC Cup scheduled as an AFL curtain raiser for Skilled Stadium today got moved to the St Marys oval next door. The decision was made on Friday afternoon, due to the 'wet conditions' - which I cant recall seeing much of over the past few days. The City of Greater Geelong didnt want the ground being cut up. Michael Turner the Geelong Falcons regional manager lip rip at an unnamed official from the Geelong Council on K-Rock this afternoon. The question is - if we get a few wet days on Friday or if it rains on Saturday what will happen with the VFL game between Geelong and Frankston? Will the local council turf them off the ground too? I think the weather forecast is alright so it probably wont be an issue.
