NORTHERN Bullants set up a tantalising top-of-the-ladder clash with Port Melbourne on Saturday, but not without a struggle.
Pitted against a Coburg side fresh from the bye but without Brad Miller, three times the Tigers mounted serious final-term challenges despite trailing from the outset in the Victorian Football League clash.
But for every surge of Coburg momentum the Ants, led by usual suspects Adam Iacobucci and David Ellard, absorbed it and duly responded.
Six final-term Coburg goals repeatedly brought the margin to seven points but Carlton-listed forward Setanta O'Hailpin stood tall with four goals.
