I cant recall so many quality VFL players switching clubs.

It seems like the aligned clubs are basically telling guys that if they play well, there AFL partner will look closely at them during draft time. Amongst other things!
spot on burra, from what I'm led to believe north melbourne trotted that exact line to lachlan fairley, son of floss, to convince him to sign at chirnside park rather than follow in his fathers footsteps at point gellibrand. Have a year at werribee, we can keep a better eye on you than if you were at willy, we might father son you next year.
You can't win em all Gullible !!!!
Probably no spots left at Willy.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

another one would be the Bulldogs getting into Jack Frost's ear...2 seasons later and he's still a Williamstown listed player

you could be on the money zebra man. I have heard that frost signed a 2 year deal with willy before xmas, however he won't play until may due to hip surgery.

Ryan Gale should be a good pick up for Port, plays down back and could be a like for like replacement for Jake Edwards.

Carlton seemed to have a policy precluding VFL listed players from playing in the Bullants back-line in 2011, so Gale spent most of the season in the two's despite playing almost every game in 2010.
