James Orr should have gone to Frankston last year, at least he would have got a go. Good move on his part
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

James Orr's form early in the year was not good...it was barely up to reserves standard...it was not a case of him "getting a go"

to his credit he turned it around and played 2 senior games

However he lives in Mt Martha so it's a bit closer to home and he may play senior football with Frankston

Bendigo Football Club signs Hawk

THE Bendigo Football Club has landed a key pre-season signing with former Hawthorn midfielder Jordan Williams committing to the club yesterday.
Originally from Moama and a product of the Bendigo Pioneers, Williams was delisted by Hawthorn at the end of last season after failing to play a senior game in two years with the club.

BFC football manager Graeme Pratt said Williams’ inability to break into the Hawthorn senior side showed how strong the Hawks’ midfield group was.

“We couldn’t be happier to sign Jordan,” Pratt said.

Sandringham Zebras

Jackson Coleman put pen to paper last night....19 Year old recruited from the Sandringham Dragons - 196cm, 90 kg Left-footed tall who is strong overhead and an accurate kick for goal. Promising cricketer (had a contract with the Victorian Bushrangers) who focussed on footy in 2011. Averaged 14 disposals, seven marks and kicked 34 goals in 2011 as a 19 year old for the Dragons. Great signing for the Zebs!

Sandy signing Jackson Coleman is a good recruiting get for the club. Jackson is a good mark and left foot kick and will certainly help the Zebra forwards .
A name like Coleman is a big name to live up to let's hope he is accepted for his own skills as I am sure he will be.
Welcome to Zebraland Jackson.

Jackson Coleman played a couple of games last year as the 23rd player....acquitted himself very well...a very good signing as he was being chased by other VFL clubs

Former Hawk Carl Peterson starting anew at Northern Blues

EXCITING forward Carl Peterson will use this season with the Northern Blues to try to relaunch an unfulfilled AFL career two years after it was ended by Hawthorn.

Peterson, 24, signed with the Victorian Football League club last week after missing out on an AFL berth at the rookie draft despite a solid 2011 season with Old Carey.

The enigmatic left-footer, born in Meekatharra, Western Australia, burst on to the scene in 2010 with 17 games at the Hawks but was delisted after reportedly struggling with the rigours of being an AFL footballer.
