CARLTON is not taking over the Northern Bullants despite conceding naming rights, club colours and shifting an extra home game to the Blues base, says Ants president Stephen Papal.
Papal confirmed the Ants will be known as the Northern Blues next year and could wear a navy blue jumper in as many as 15 of 18 matches.
The Ants will wear their traditional red and white jumper at Preston games only and use it as a clash strip.
And in a stunning admission, Papal said his club’s No. 1 priority would be to develop young Carlton talent.
