FRANKSTON faces an uphill battle to get its season back on track after being beaten by 47 points by the Northern Bullants at Visy Park yesterday.
The stand-alone Dolphins are in a precarious position on and off the field: winless after four rounds, second-last on the VFL ladder and fighting to stay afloat financially, according to club president John Barry.
To make matters worse, they could be staring down the barrel of six consecutive losses, as they face top-two teams Williamstown and Port Melbourne in the next fortnight.
"When you're 0-4, of course you are (concerned). But there's nothing you can do about it now," coach Shannon Grant said.
