WODONGA Raiders impressive pre-season recruiting campaign has been capped off by signing Williamstown star Adam Cook.
Cook, 22, agreed to join the Raiders on Tuesday with his signature heading off interest from at least one other Ovens and Murray club.
Raiders coach Corey Lambert said he expected the 186cm, 91kg powerful centre-half forward would form a lethal pairing with former Doug Strang Medallist Adam Prior in attack.
“Talking to people down that way he is rated as their (Williamstown’s) most important player,†he said.
“We are absolutely stoked to have a player of his calibre join the club.
