FIVE key players are on the verge of returning from injury for North Ballarat in the Victorian Football League.
Nick Couch, Nick Peters, Paul McMahon, Jason Linke and Oliver Tate are also chances to be available after the Selkirk Roosters’ bye this weekend. North Ballarat’s next assignment is against the Coburg Tigers on Saturday, May 12.

Couch joined the Roosters’ casualty list when he injured a toe against the Casey Scorpions. McMahon (hamstring) has missed the past four matches, while Peters (quadricep) has not been sighted since the opening round.

Jason Linke (ankle) and Oliver Tate (hips) are yet to make an appearance in the VFL this season. North Ballarat’s AFL development team plays Sandringham at Sandringham on Sunday. North Melbourne draft selection Tom Curran and rookie Max Warren will again play at this level.
