It was a game where despite 32 point margin and big scoring shot diffence Coburg would look at say this is a gsme would could have won they had more disposals, indies 50s and Tacled but could convert on their Entries.
Noah Cumberland kicked 1.6 for Richmond
Richmond 13-15(93) def Coburg 9-7(61)
Make or break for both clubs.
I actually think Port are playing some decent footy (definitely better than the ladder position of 20th would suggest.
Fraser Rosman the very handy inclusion for Port.
My thoughts are with Hawthorn listed player Sam Butler after suffering a shattered lower leg during the 3rd Quarter at Box Hill today.
36 min delay for an ambulance which came on the ground for record 3rd quarter went 66:26
Box Hill Hawks 15-12(102) def Sydney 11-9(75)
Good solid win for Frankston over a very competitive Coburg. At the end of the day the Dolphs had a little more class and polish than Coburg who are going places but are still pretty rough around the edges. Really looking forward to watching Tom Owens develop over the next couple of years (hopefully at Frankston). This kid is loaded with talent and when he bulks up and gets more games under his belt he will be a serious player.
It gets a lot tougher for Frankston from next week - the next 9 weeks will be much harder and will give us a better idea of where the club is at.

That one hurts. The Borough battled hard after a slow start and got themselves into a winning position at 3/4 time, only to fade out late in the last quarter.
I thought it was by far the best footy we have played to date and we looked dangerous for the first time in ages
I feel like the season might be gone, but surely our dietary win isn't too far away.
I'll rewatch the game later to analyse what went wrong. Flochart looks a genuine tall forward option, and Rosman worked hard as a winning defender.
Frankston: 11.19.85
Bullants: 4.10.34
Reasonably happy with yesterday's win. One of the more convincing victories we've had in the past few years.
Still some problems to be ironed out. Goalkicking once again an issue with us kicking more points than goals and failing to win by as much as we could have. Also concerned with some of the skill errors and ill discipline at times. Taine Barlow dropped too many uncontested marks to count. Hopefully it's just a matter of building synergy within the playing group.
If we can dish out another strong performance against Coburg next week, that gives me a lot of confidence heading down to Geelong. If we manage to be 4-1 after five rounds, I'll be rapt.
The good old days of the VFA.. have a look at the video if you've forgotten how tough and hard the VFA was back then...
To those waiting on them, I have the templates ready, however the only selected side I've seen so far is Port. If the others are done today I will work on them tonight but they won't go up until late tonight or early tomorrow.
