North Ballarat will bring the Victorian Football League to Stawell this weekend when it hosts Bendigo Bombers at Central Park on Sunday.
The Roosters and Bombers met for the first time at Central Park in 2007, and following the success of that venture, the fixture will return in 2009.
North Ballarat CEO Mark Patterson said he was proud to be bringing the VFL back to Stawell.
``VFL football is the highest level of football outside of the AFL and it is important for regional people to have the opportunity to experience this standard of football on their home ground, Patterson said.
``The North Ballarat Football Club is a regional team and we see ourselves as representing regional Victoria, particularly the central and western regions.
