A SEVEN-goal haul from young St Kilda listed player Matthew Ferguson helped the Casey Scorpions to an emphatic 118-point win over the Northern Bullants at Casey Fields.
The Scorpions dominated the midfield battle and held the Bullants to six goals for the match, including only one for the first half.
After the loss, Northern Bullants' playing coach David Teague said he had felt for his defenders, who were bombarded by exceptional delivery to the Casey forwards.
"We got beaten to the ball," he said. "They won the contested ball and they got the ball forward and put our defence under a lot of pressure. To be honest, I felt sorry for some of our defenders the way the ball was coming in.
