ALL football teams strive to get off to a good start and Sandringham was no different on Saturday.
In the rooms before the match against Williamstown at Werribee, Zebras coach Brett Lovett spoke of the importance of a sturdy beginning.
Unfortunately for Sandy they more fell at than flew from the blocks. Williamstown had 5.3 on the board before they scored.
It would take an extraordinary effort to win from there and although the Zebras actually grabbed the lead during the second quarter, their effort to pull it back to parity took a toll and they lost by 35 points
