The interesting thing is the lack of interest from the AFL clubs supporters.

Sandy are a prime example being situated in St Kildas supposed heartland but not many Saints fans turn up to Sandys matches even when the Saints are not playing on the same day or playing interstate.
Considering Saints members get in for free its even more of a worry.
Even if only 5% of their members(30,000 +) turned up you would get at least 1500 to see basically what is a St Kilda seconds team.

I need to split this off to a new topic. I can't recall ever seeing a post from a Coburg supporter. From memory, Phil Clearly did post on a couple of occasions, so I guess that counts!

On the abc game phil said he had stepped aside down at coburg.
Sad to hear i really thought he was the best person to take the club though the bumpy period of the next 1 or 2 years.

I hope the club knows what its doing

Although I live in Bendigo now and have a GOLD membership. I lived in Coburg up until I was 20. I grew up with the Coburg premierships in the 80s and it was a great time to follow them.

I can't wait to see them as the Lions again!
