2010 Round 15 Preview
Body:

Here is the preview for Round 15

SATURDAY
Geelong(4-10 12th) vs Gold Coast Suns(4-9-1 10th) at Skilled Stadium 12:30pm
Last time they met: Rd 6 2010 at Southport. Gold Coast 10-8(68) def Geelong 5-10(40).
Nathan Ablett makes his return to Geelong this weekend. The Suns are on a 2 game win streak as they continue there improvement including Karmichael Hunt as every game he plays he is getting better and better. Gold Coast won their meeting back in May and although Geelong had a goos win over Coburg, The Suns can make it 3 in a row and their 1st win on Victorian soil.
STATS
Total Quarters Won: Geel 26-30(9th) Gld Cst 20-34-2(12th)

Williamstown(12-2 1st) vs Bendigo Bombers(7-7 8th) at Burbank Oval 1:10pm(ABC1 TV)
(Reserves Curtain Raiser Williamstown vs Port Melbourne starts at 10am)
Last time they met: Rd 6 2009 at QEO,Bendigo. Williamstown 25-17(167) def Bendigo Bombers 10-6(66).
Williamstown smashed the Bullants away last week while the Bombers snuck past Werribee. If Bendigo can upset Willy it will just about cement their place in finals but at home Willy who have been in great form and should win comfortably.

Werribee(3-10-1 13th) vs North Ballarat(12-2 2nd) at Avalon Airport Oval,Werribee 2pm
(Reserves Curtain Raiser starts at 11am)
Last time they met: Rd 6 2010 at Eureka Stadium. North Ballarat 13-23(101) def Werribee 6-14(50).
North Ballarat squeaked past Port Melbourne last week for their 6th straight win while the Tigers stayed with Bendigo all day but finished just 10pts short. The Roosters should make it 7 in a row with a comfortable win here.
STATS
Total Quarters Won: Werr 17-37-2(13th) Nth Ball 36-19-1(2nd)
1st Quarter: Werr 5-8-1(13th) Nth Ball 9-5(2nd)

Coburg Tigers(4-10 11th) vs Frankston(1-13 14th) at Highgate Recreation Reserve,Craigieburn 2pm
(Reserves curtain raiser starts at 11am)
Last time they met: Rd 2 2010 at Frankston. Frankston 15-11(101) def Coburg Tigers 15-7(97).
This is Frankston's best chance to break their 12 match losing streak. The last 3 weeks they have been competitive against Casey,North Ballarat and Box Hill and probably should have beaten the Hawks last week. They will go in knowing they beat a strong Coburg line up at home back in Round 2. Coburg's form has been on the slide as they are also on a 3 game losing streak. This will be a fascinating game.
STATS
Total Quarters Won: Coburg 24-31-1(11th) Fston 16-40(14th)
1st Quarter: Coburg 6-8(9th) Fston 3-11(14th)
2nd Quarter: Coburg 8-6(5th) Fston 7-7(10th)
3rd Quarter: Coburg 4-9-1(12th) Fston 4-10(14th)
4th Quarter: Coburg 6-8(10th) Fston 2-12(14th)
My Tip: Frankston by 8pts

Port Melbourne(9-5 5th) vs Collingwood(9-5 4th) at TEAC Oval 2pm
Last time they met: Rd 9 2009 at Visy Park. Collingwood 13-19(97) def Port Melbourne 12-10(82).
This is match of the Round with a top 4 spot at stake. Both teams are coming off losses with the Pies losing to Casey at home while Borough had a rare home loss losing narrowly to the Roosters. This should be a great game but Port very rarely lose 2 in a row at home.
STATS
Total Quarters Won: Pt Melb 31-25(6th) Coll 32-21-3(3rd)
1st Quarter: Pt Melb 7-7(6th) Coll 8-4-2(4th)
2nd Quarter: Pt Melb 7-7(8th) Coll 8-6(4th)
3rd Quarter: Pt Melb 9-5(5th) Coll 9-5(4th)
4th Quarter: Pt Melb 8-6(3rd) Coll 7-6-1(6th)
My Tip: Port Melbourne by 4pts.

SUNDAY
Box Hill Hawks(8-6 7th) vs Casey Scorpions(11-3 3rd) at Box Hill 2pm(3WBC)
(Reserves Curtain Raiser starts at 11am)
Lat time they met: Rd 20 2009 at Box Hill. Box Hill Hawks 13-12(90) def Casey Scorpions 14-5(89).
Box Hill got away with a lucky 2 goal over bottom side Frankston last week while Scorpions had a good win over Collingwood. Box Hill can win this game and pretty much confirm a spot in the finals while the Scorpions can confirm a top 4 spot and keep the pressure on the top 2 with a win here.
STATS
Total Quarters Won: BHH 32-24(5th) Casey 28-26-2(8th)
1st Quarter: BHH 10-4(1st) Casey 5-8-1(12th)
2nd Quarter: BHH 6-8(11th) Casey 8-6(3rd)
3rd Quarter: BHH 8-6(6th) Casey 9-5(3rd)
4th Quarter: BHH 8-6(6th) Casey 6-7-1(9th)
My Tip: Casey Scorpions by 14pts

Sandringham(5-9 9th) vs Northern Bullants(8-6 6th) at Trevor Barker Oval,Sandringham 2pm
(Reserves Curtain Raiser starts at 11am)
Last time they met: Rd 5 2009 at Sandringham. Northern Bullants 14-11(95) def Sandringham 13-11(89).
Another huge match with finals places on the line. This is a must win for Zebras if they want to play finals football after they were smashed by the Suns at Labrador on the weekend. The Bullants got a severe reality check after being smashed by Willy at home. The Bullants need to win to keep their slim top 4 hopes alive and to confirm a spot in the finals. The Bullants in a tight one.
STATS
Total Quarters Won: Sand 25-31(10th) Nth Bull 32-22-2(4th)
1st Quarter: Sand 7-7(9th) Nth Bull 8-5-1(5th)
2nd Quarter: Sand 4-10(13th) Nth Bull 7-7(7th)
3rd Quarter: Sand 8-6(7th) Nth Bull 9-4-1(2nd)
4th Quarter: Sand 6-8(11th) Gld Cst 8-6(4th)
My Tip: Northern Bullants by 6pts
