Finally got to watch all of the Footscray v Essendon game during the week.
Brian Taylor used the terms 'Point Guard' and '...from downtown' during the call.
It's a disgrace. I am still irritated by the prevalence of sitting 'on the pine' which has crept into common usage by commentators on TV and Radio.
I realise that they are using these as descriptors for the basketball style play that is becoming all to common, but still... using American terms to describe the game isn't helping.
