THE Box Hill Hawks reserves made it back-to-back premierships, after beating Williamstown by 17 points in the grand final at Box Hill City Oval on Saturday.
After the scores had been level at three-quarter-time, the Hawks proved too good in the last quarter, kicking five goals to three to take the flag, 17.20 (122) to 16.9 (105).
The Hawks' inaccuracy throughout the day threatened to derail their efforts, Box Hill kicking 0.6 in the first quarter and 5.8 in the last.
But, a nine-goal second-quarter blitz balanced out the scoreboard and made it tough for the Seagulls to get back into the match.
