A reasonable win in the end, with a bit of a scare in the third quarter. The game was a little hard to gauge where the Borough are at wuth around 14 Roos players.
My Frosty Miller medal tip of Sav Rocca was off to a good start with Sav kicking 8, although if he keeps that up he will be back in Norths side.
First-gamers for Port Steven Lawrence, Ben Schwarze looked good. David Pitt seemed to go in and out of the game a bit.
'Banger' Alexander continues to improve and Cotchett was also good.
Heard that Frankston beat the Roosters, so should be a good game next week.
Couple of ankle injuries, with "H" and gibbo both heavily strapped and iced.
Only saw about half of the reserves but Nick Thomas finished with about 7 goals and Gill must have kicked 4 or 5 and could consider himself a little unlucky not to be playing in the firsts. Also impressive were Howard and Milhuisen (who also must be pushing for senior selection). Ryan McMahon also played, but seemed a little quiet.
