G'day people, long time since I've posted on here, but thought I should hop back on. Hope everyone's well and looking forward to the season proper.
Went down to Casey Fields for the Scorpions v Dolphins on Saturday, expecting the Dolphins to cop a pretty rough time of it, but was pleasantly surprised. Despite slumping to a 28 point deficit halfway through the 3rd (in blustery and wet conditions), the boys came back brilliantly and pinched the lead in time-on of the last before succumbing to a pretty soft Scorpions goal in the finish. New boys Lloyd and Williams were particularly impressive up forward, and Lourey should provide another goalkicking option.....should be interesting to see if they can pinch a win or two early in the season. Would make a pleasant change for sure :)
