Big toast to Craig Lees, now former General Manager of the mighty Coburg FC.
Leesy has just announced he is moving his tribe about as far north as you could whilst remaining on the mainland, taking a plum job running the AFL Cairns operations. With two little ones and all four grandparents permanently up there, it was a "no brainer" apparently.
The reincarnation of the Coburg Football Club post the Richmond alignment has only been successful due to the tireless work of Craig Lees. No doubt his successor, former development forwards coach and mor recently list manager/head of recruitment Sebastian Spagnuolo will do a bang up job filling the great man's shoes.
