Looks like a decent crowd on that side of the ground. Hope the supporter numbers grow.

Rapt for Coburg. After all the struggles they've had, they deserve something to be proud of. Hopefully the playing group gains some confidence from this, they showed potential from what I saw today and with today's morale boost I think they'll be dangerous.

Such a good result. They will take it right up to the Borough as well in a few weeks time.

They must have really belted out the song and would be a great feeling around the club.

So pleased for the Burgers and their supporters......we at Frankston definitely know how it feels to finally break through after a drought. I knew after they pushed Willy that they had the stuff, and now they've proved it. Hopefully they go on to bigger and better things from here.

Bit of a sick feeling going into our game against them on Friday night though. We have some real momentum and confidence building at Frankston, feels like we're on the cusp of something memorable......we need to beat Coburg to keep that going. Not convinced we will beat them though, and if we do, I won't be able to help feeling a bit sad for them. One thing is for sure, Friday night will be a big night with and ANZAC memorial before the game and a massive crossroads game for both clubs. Think it will be a big crowd at Kinetic!!

I imagine plenty of Coburg supporters will be making the trip down on Friday after today's result. Wouldn't be surprised to see a whopping crowd at Frankston that night.

It's certainly not a forgone conclusion that Frankston win next week. Coburg have shown themselves to be capable of some very good footy these past few weeks and with the confidence boost from today, they'll come out firing. It's still a must-win game in my opinion, but I just hope the boys are switched on and take Coburg seriously. We'll have to work hard for a victory.

Today's game just makes me more excited for it. How good is it to see two standalone clubs coming off great wins after so much strife? Frankston vs Coburg will be one of the games to watch this week for the first time in what I can only imagine is a very long time.
