Ive noticed that Coburg has been getting good crowds for a while now - what can we put their off field success down to ? A few years ago they were struggling.

In true Digs fashion- Great informative post. Much appreciated:)
Great to see you have come out from under that rock that you & all the other 50 Port posters have been hiding for the last two years Mega. NorthPort has been carrying all you deserters on his shoulders.
Still waiting on an answer to my question a month back about Port's finances !
I haven't been hiding anywhere the last 2 years Digs, ive been active here, other Port fans who were once active here have transitioned to Facebook.
Regarding your question Ports finances are very strong with last year the club making one of their largest profits in modern times. According to a well known long term member several large revenue generating initiatives are in the pipeline which will secure the clubs financial future.

The crowd for the Zebras v Essendon 2s was pretty good as well.It helps when the AFL teams are not playing on the same day!
There was large band of Essendon supporters. Judging by the huddles there was probably more Essendon than Sandy supporters at the game
I suspected that may have been one of the reasons blackrocker the crowd was up the sunny day would have helped as well.
