Go werribee. All old vfa fans well and truly on the werribee bandwagon. Hopefully they continue their run. Williamstown had a great season unfortunately could not win yesterday.

Yes hopefully Werribee can continue their winning ways. Otherwise there isn't much to cheer about.

Box Hill wont beat Gold Coast. Hard to see it happening. Werribee also look good to make it through to Grand Final.

Werribee v Brisbane PF on at midday. Absolute joke to have a preliminary final at midday.  Watching my old team Richmond Central reserves in GF so cannot make Werribee game.

Wally I didn't see the game, did you have chances? Where was the game lost?

The weather and a trip away is at least a nice change. It's a long trip back after a loss.

The game was lost out of the middle NorthPort - Rhys Mathieson had 35 disposals (16 kicks, 19 handballs) and nobody went near him and he was able to set up so many forward advances - it seemed obvious early that he was going to be a danger and somebody should have been sent to run with him and at least provide a contest but nothing was done about it. If Brisbane had kicked straight they would have blown us off the park but having said that we did get back to within 4 goals in the third quarter and had real momentum but just couldn't go on with it.

Sunday was glorious down by the river and a few drinks to drown the sorrows helped. There's always next year to look forward to.

It was a very good bounce back year for the Gulls. Finishing 5th in a tough 21 team comp is a bloody good performance.

The boys were gutted after the game but everyone kept telling them what a fabulous year they had after last season

The seagulls have had a great season. Good platform for next season to go a few rungs better. Werribee are in a prime position to advance to the VFL Grand Final. With a week's rest and playing at home the bees will hopefully continue their winning run. No doubt they will have to tag or minimise Rhys Mathieson. Can't see Box Hill winning up north against Gold Coast.  Werribee and Gold Coast have been the two standout teams this year and would be a fitting Grand Final.

Never thought i would ever see the day, but i'm hoping Werribee win the GF, assuming they get there, which won't be easy against a pretty good Brisbane outfit
