We'll probably be getting up to Port Melbourne fairly early in the hope of getting a parking spot. With the VFLW match on beforehand it'll probably be busy.
This is looming as a winnable game for us. If we turn up with the same hunger that we showed against Williamstown, we're a strong chance. But I'm also not expecting an easy game. I suspect Port will be a fairly strong side on their home deck, especially after working out their initial teething issues.
Ild say if both teams bring last week's form into the contest you'll win, I don't think Port has worked out their teething issues.
Port needs to.send a strong message this good Friday, fans are already doubting if we will have a good season 2024.

Coburg vs Williamstown on Friday has been moved to Highgate Reserve, Craigieburn and will n9w start at 2:30pm
The game will follow Calder Csnnons vs Western Jets Coates League Boys game which starts at 11am
My mindset is to take no match as an easy win. Port were ordinary last weekend, but as you said Mega, they need to send a strong message on this Friday. As for Frankston, I just hope our intensity on Friday isn't reserved for Williamstown. We need to be switched on and hungry no matter who we're playing.
Any idea what sort of crowd will be expected for the VFLW match at Port on Friday? We're wondering what the best time to get up there will be in terms of getting a parking spot.
Plenty of parking, the factories around fishermen's bend will be shut (with the exception of perhaps Toll ipec) therefore parking won't be a issue.
To answer your question though ild expect a small crowd at the start of the game as those attending will most likely be having lunch at first bounce before being at the ground for several hours. Crowd should increasingly build towards first bounce in what should be a great day both weather wise and football wise - 2 teams hungry to notch their first win and both equally as capable of doing so.

Thanks, I ask only because my dad can only walk a certain distance in one go before needing a break, so parking close to the ground is ideal.
