Won't make it due to being at Karingal for the womens' game. But it'll be interesting to see what kind of crowd we'll get for Port vs Casey. Probably not many unless a large group of Port supporters make the trip down.
Club has put on a bus from Port Melbourne but ild say the crowd wil be very small for a few reasons. We never really travel in great numbers to Frankston and as the teams not performing I feel some Port fans will be deterred - success (which is beginning to feel like a long time ago) has made us feel spoilt and like that little kid that's so used to getting what he wants, when we don't get it we get sulky 😢 and drop.off quickly.
A few may also stay away as they are baffled as to why the club didn't ask for a away fixture for this game when they knew well in advance that these ground works were going to be undertaken.
Last time we played a home fixture at Frankston we had a crowd no bigger than a local match (mind you that was v North Ballarat who wasn't travelling too well at the time).

It's a bizarre move not to have just asked for it to be a Casey home game if the club knew in advance that works would be done. Casey Fields isn't really that far away from Frankston so I don't understand why they wouldn't have just made it a home fixture and given Port a home game later.
Port played some very good footy for the majority of the game before falling away in the last quarter.
Philps looked ok. A little shaky earlier but looks like he will be a valuable addition. Billy Gowers had terrific game, particularly early and Miller has been extremely impressive.
I think there is still lots to like, despite the slow start. Port play a few more away games in the next month, but two standalone clashes make me feel like we should at least be posting up a couple of wins.
Look forward to being at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday should be an interesting game

The game was moved to Casey then to Frankston not sure the reason given VFLW game is still at.Casey Fields
Does anyone know if Frankston members have to pay to get in?
Yould think so, it's not Frankstons home game. No different to going to any other vfl match where your side isn't playing I reckon.

Casey Demons 13-12(90) def Port Melbourne 11-9(75) at Frankston today
A 6 goal to 1 last quarter got Casey over line the line in the end .
That's one that got away.
