The Port Melbourne Football Club (PMFC) today announced that Tom Chitsos will be the VFLW Coach for the 2025 season.
Tom is a familiar face at the Borough having joined the club in 2024 as the Head of Development for the VFLW Program. When the opportunity came to take the next step he did not hesitate to put his hand up.
“Having worked with the girls through the 2024 season, I was keen to continue beyond this season so when the opportunity presented itself I jumped at the chance” said Chitsos.
Tom has completed a Bachelor of Sports Coaching & Developing at Latrobe University and prior to joining the Borough was Head Coach of the Coburg Football Club Senior Women’s Team.
“We are thrilled that Tom will be staying on at the Borough and taking that next step in his couching journey. He has the rapport with the team and the passion and dedication to ensure our VFLW team continues to grow and develop” commented PMFC General Manager Sophie Williams.
“I can’t wait for the pre-season where I can continue to work with the team and build a strong 2025 campaign” added Chitsos.
