BYE: Port Melbourne, Werribee, Williamstown, Tasmania
A lot of crucial games going into the last few rounds of the season. Carlton, Essendon, and North Melbourne will all be looking to keep their finals hopes alive while Frankston and Coburg will strength their positions inside the top 10 if they win. Sydney and GWS currently sit in 4th and 5th place, respectively, so their game should be a competitive one.
All those teams with the bye will be looking on with great interest to see where they might be placed prior to Round 19..
Agree both Coburg and Frankston well placed to notch up wins.
On a side note.. can someone tell me why Collingwood are playing home games at La Trobe university? Why not back at Victoria Park?
* It's time to restore the VFA name.
I think Victoria Park has had a few complaints in the past over the state of its facilities and playing surface, although that doesn't explain why they're not playing at Olympic Park where they actually train.
