Geelong vs Werribee
Body:

Thoughts on Geelong players. Werribee fans, I can give feedback on your guys too

Here we go.. a very winnable game. Our turnovers down back and missed shots hurt us..
.. Mitch Brown: Really started to get into the game late, struggling to have a huge impact as the third target. Some really good decisions and good hands.
.. Jordan Schroder: Quiet game by his standards, seemed to have worn a heavy tag and struggled to break it.
.. Dawson Simpson: Best game I've seen him play this year, dominated the ruck and looked a good option around the ground.
.. Shannon Byrnes: Getting back to some very good form. His run and disposal was a class above at times after a slow first quarter.
.. Josh Cowan: Named as one of the best, and was certainly busy, but had a few passages of play he'd rather forget.. questionable down back.
.. Cam Mooney: One of the best who got better as the game went on. Moved pretty well and provided that very strong body we need. He sprayed a few shots in the last quarter which ended up hurting.
.. Tom Gillies: Looked very good at times. Good run and carry from down back, but was hurt by the turnovers in the backline as Warren went on a rampage.
.. Tom Hawkins: Started off the game very slowly, but by the fourth quarter was firing on all cylinders and was a big part of our fightback. Still needs a bit more time in the VFL.
.. Allen Christensen: Our best. Just everywhere with plenty of run, dash, carry and creativity.. Good hands overhead and a good goal sense.
.. Cam Guthrie: Very hot and cold game.. got caught with the ball a few times down back, but never stopped trying and did a few nice touches.
.. Steve Motlop: The best I've seen him ever play. ALMOST won the game off his own boot in the last term, just reading the ball off the pack, zip and spark galore as he tore up the field and made more senior defenders look stupid.
.. George Horlin-Smith: Liked a lot about his game. Just really good composure and poise about his game, just needs to work on the attacking side of his game to have a bigger impact.
.. Josh Walker: Looked good early before a leg injury saw him carried off on the shoulder of trainers early in the second.
.. George Burbury: Best game for the club. Kicked a freaky goal in the first quarter, and just provided good dash and attack on the ball throughout the game.
.. Joffa Simpkin: Very solid and serviceable game. Looked best on the wing/ half forward in the last quarter where his poise and skill helped set up a few forward attacks.
.. Ryan Bathie: Utility role again, and while he is still learning, there is a lot of upside to him. Never stops trying and is showing some good touch as a hit up ruckman too.
.. Matt Firman: tireless in defense and is possibly the best small defender at the club. Tough as they come, he's become a valuable asset since assuming the captaincy.
.. Troy Selwood: good game, displaying that Selwood toughness, but without the freekicks. Plays off the half back line, he stood up and played a captain's game when it was required.
.. Andrew McLean: a bit quieter game by his standard (i think.. the oval is on a slope and its impossible to see diagonally across the ground with any clarity). The turnovers down back didn't help, but the Werribee Tigers had a lot more room as he was made to be accountable. Still did a few nice things.
.. Casey Tutungi: Had a serviceable game across the half back line, but I felt could have been missed up forward (unfortunately, our hands were tied with Hawk and Moons). Did okay, and has become a good VFL contributer.
.. Mark Corrigan: One of the most consistent performers, he set up the first quarter with toughness, skill and poise. His toughness gave away a few frees early, but never took a backward step and never gave up even when the Tigers stepped things up.
.. Ben Raidme: HUGE wraps for the man. One of our best in my opinion in that first half. Tough, courageous, good skill. Great to see him rewarded with a goal.
