AFTER stints as a bobsledder and soccer player, former Carlton defender Glenn Manton is attempting a comeback in the VFL next season.
Manton, 34, hasn't played football since retiring from the Blues at the end of 2003.
"I mightn't be good enough to return to play VFL football," he said yesterday.
"But I've certainly been working through my body to put myself in a position if I chose to do that and someone chose to enter into a discussion with me, then I'd be in good physical shape."[/quote]
