Watch out for Shannon Motlop this finals series, unless he's with Melbourne. Played some wonderful VFL finals footy, a player who can have a big impact. Finals suit him, he plays like he wants to prove something. Kicked 2 great last 1/4 goals in 2003 prelim for Port against willy, and 2 goals in a minute for Sandy in last years granny broke the game open in the 3rd 1/4.
His 2nd, (having just kicked 1 from 50), Motlop grabbed the ball from the bounce, danced & weaved around traffic, broke free and drilled it from 50. Truly inspiring. One of the best goals i've seen, and at the right time. Sandy will do well to have him in the team over the coming weeks.
