This weeks ressies game against Springvale will see the arrival of three 'new' names to Box Hill.
Michael Georgiadis will be making his long awaited comeback after acting as senior team runner so far this year while waiting for the all clear on his back injury. The immensely popular Georgie should provide some much needed leadership for our very young ressies side.
Ex Melbourne Tigers basketballer Dave Smith will begin his attempt to switch sports at the ripe old age of 25. Dave hasn't played competitive footy since his under age days at Croydon and we'll all be watching keenly to see how he travels on Sturday.
Genuine new boy Tim Lowrie also makes his VFL debut. Tim is originally from the Mulwala area and more recently has been playing with Old camberwell in the ammos. A nuggety defender , Tim's strength will be welcome in our squad.
For anyone interested , the game is at Box Hill and starts at 11.10am on Saturday.
