Werribee into $26. The bees have struck top form and will firm further in next few weeks with a few more wins. Southport looking good.

Werribee odds now $13 slashed in half. All of a sudden big chance for top four. Will Southport have a home final if they finish second ? They deserve to.  Likely top four in order most likely looks to be Casey, Southport, Brisbane and werribee.

Go the sharks !!!! All vfa fans should be on the Southport bandwagon. Stuff afl and stuff Melbourne seconds. Since Melbourne were beaten by Brisbane on Friday night hope the sharks add more misery. Southport are definitely good enough to beat Casey. Pescud running through the fence to celebrate with supporters pure gold. Crossley can match it on the ruck. They have forwards that can kick goals. Jacob Townsend if on song could have a big day. They are quick, skilful and strong and will be playing with plenty of passion. Majority of the 6000 will be going for Southport.  Fields, woodcock, Bailey and several others can be instrumental for the sharks on Sunday.

Bookies had Casey $6 favourite at start of the year and Southport as $9 fifth favourite. They were pretty close to the mark. Forecast for Sunday is windy with showers, which I think will suit the Dees.

Out of interest, there have been 20 premiers since the AFL reserves and VFA teams came into the same comp. By my count, 10 premiers have had more VFL-listed players on grand final day, 10 have had more AFL-listed players. The deadlock will be broken on Sunday.

Interesting stat. Sharks to break dead lock. Southport have quite a few ex gold coast suns running around. If pescud goal celebration is something to go by I'm on the sharks. I'll be taking a multi for bit of interest. Geelong, swans afl, eels, sharks nrl and Southport vfl. Three are favourites with Cronulla sharks $2 Southport sharks $3 as the outsiders.  I'll be one of about 5000 there on Sunday. Might surprise and get 6000 to 7000. On Saturday will be watching rowville v noble park at bayswater. Hope rowville win at the highest level for the first time. They will be warm favourites.

Sorry vfa but the weather is going to be crap on sat so 5000 will be tops unless the Melbourne supporters come out of the wood work and going on the total lack of publicity in the media I doubt that many people even know the match is on!
