Lol quicker than I thought otherwise I would have said it in the initial post. As you said Spiny I reckon it's a safe bet that McMahon will be approached by Porr who has been successful at getting ex Essendon players. Considering Port had a more successful season than Coburg and having come down to train at Port pre season what would the possibility we can get Stephenson ?

Yes great news for Dom.. He will leave a huge hole up forward for Port with Baldwin missing 2027.

It was one area that I thought would be pretty settled. Not to be.  Wishing him all the best at Freo.

Add Connor Downie to the list of departures... He is following in Billy Gowers footsteps and testing it for Gridiron punting!

Good luck to Downie also. He's a big loss as well. Wonder if we'll move Rankin to the wing now (hope he re-signs). I've always liked him there; of course he's good at halfback too, but it looked like we were starting to have him spend less time there anyway. Might depend on whether we have an easier time signing wingers or inside mids, since he could play either role.

As for the possibility of signing Jaidyn Stephenson, he's reported as saying that he's "50-50" about playing for Coburg next season, but since he said he'd have gone back to local footy if they'd played finals, it sounds like he's deciding between Coburg and local footy. He doesn't like the travel to Coburg from the eastern suburbs (North Ringwood is his local club), so it doesn't sound like Port Melbourne would be an improvement in that respect.
