Body:
This has makings of a great ABC TV game.
Bendigo are a dramatically improved side, and would be aiming for a top four finish. They currently sit seventh on the ladder. Despite the loss to Werribee, the Bombers would back themselves in as a real chance to beat the Borough in front of a good home crowd at QE Oval. Possibly a few changes to their side with but on paper the Bombers have a good mix of players.
The deep pockets at Bendigo makes for a uniquely shaped footy ground, and opposition clubs can fall into the habit of going too wide at the QEO.
For Port, this is the first of 3 big away games, seeing them travel to Bendigo, Tasmania and Ballarat, all against a strong opposition. The borough would be looking to cement their position in the top 3 at the half-way mark of the season.
