It was a high standard first quarter good free flowing football. The 2nd and 3rd quarter though was all Bendigo Bombers kicking 10 goals to 2 and they led by 60 points at 3 quarter time. Both teams dropped their intensity in the last quarter allowing Frankston to get a couple late goals to lower the margin. Mark Mercuri and Jason Laycock best for the Bombers while Byron Murphy best for the Dolphins. Their was a Bendigo Bombers player reported but not sure who it was.
