BOX Hill Hawks coach Brendon Bolton expressed concerns about another slow start after his team lost its VFL clash to Collingwood by 56 points at Princes Park on Saturday.
The Hawks kicked just one goal in the opening quarter, to trail by 36 points at quarter-time, and they were never able to bridge the gap.
Without midfielder Ben McGlynn, who was recalled to the Hawthorn line-up, the Hawks lost 18.16 (124) to 11.2 (68).
“The last couple of games we started a little slow and it’s an area we’ve got to focus on for this week for sure,†Bolton said.
“I thought a lot of our intensity was low and we had a low tackle count.
