Hi guys just want to gage a few opinions on this subject. The VFL is a high quality competition but I dont know how much passion there is to win and play for the jumper.
Getting over that is the fact that players get offered more money in local footy. How can we make the VFL the best comp outside the AFL when we cant compete with local clubs financially?
I was a Bendigo Bombers member this year and I am excited with the reserves starting next season. I am very sceptical of the direction the VFL is going and I am thinking I may as well follow Kangaroo Flat in the local footy as the players play for the jumper.
What are peoples thoughts on this?
