As if attracting 5,000 people, having gate receipts of $24,000 and lining the pockets of caterers was not enough, do I read right that Box Hill had the cheek to sell a photocopied piece of paper - one sided - with team lists on them for a DOLLAR last Sunday when they ran out of VFL Records?
I reckon that is pure greed. They should have been handed out for free. A 500 sheet packed of paper costs under $5, geez talk about a massive mark up.
Box Hill may as well pick peoples pockets as they go through the turnstiles. Even the food there is overpriced.
Hopefully Box Hill put the money from the Buckley Day to good use, possibly build some shelter for the crowd. Pity they took out the best viewing area for fans with those new changerooms they built.
They better not get a home final this year.
