With the influx of AFL reserves sides into the competition over the last couple of years and the recent announcement that Bendigo are calling it quits I really have a hard time gathering any interest outside of Port Melbourne with the VFL. With the future of the reserves in doubt the VFL is fast becoming the AFL reserves by stealth. I will still support Port Melbourne, however I don't see myself traveling to away games anymore. For example, rather than traveling this Weekend to see Port take on the St Kilda seconds I might check out my local team Bacchus Marsh take on East Point.
How is everyone else's passion for the VFL?
