FAST-FINISHING Port Melbourne overran Sandringham at home by 31 points to edge closer to the top two and end the Zebras' finals hopes yesterday.

And at Visy Park, Collingwood officially stamped itself in the VFL finals for the first time after eclipsing Frankston by 76 points.

NORTH Ballarat has made a multitude of changes two weeks out from the Victorian Football League finals.
Injuries and a transitional period at North Melbourne might result in up to nine different players lining up for the Selkirk Roosters against Bendigo Bombers at Windy Hill on Sunday.

SANDRINGHAM'S shock loss to Frankston has put Collingwood in the box seat to retain eighth position in the race for the VFL finals.

The Dolphins upset the Zebras by 21 points at Trevor Barker Oval, while the Northern Bullants edged out Geelong by seven points in a thriller at Cramer Street Oval.
