Impressive second-half performance from the Bullants after squandering several opportunities in the first-half.
The Bullants dominated the first quarter with the match having the makings of a rout. But sloppydisposal let Springvale of the hook. subsequently with Barry Brooks kicking three goals of the Scorpians 7.1 for the term, they remarkably took a one point lead into the main break.
Jess Smith signalled that the Bullants meant business by crunching an opponent at the first centre bounce of the third term. From there the Bullants were always in control of the game and looked like a genuine top four side.
Troy Longmuir, Ross Young, Trent Sporn and David Clarke continuullay gave the Bullant forwards plenty of opportunities. Digby Morrelll was the best of the forwards finishing the game with four goals. Longmuir and Young were also amongst the goals, kicking four and three respectively.
Young's game was his best for the season. His pin-point kicking a feature of the game. Justin Crow and Josh Vansittart were also good down back. Crow being shifted onto Brooks after he had kicked three goals on Luke Livingston. Playing his first game for several weeks Livingston struggled but got better as the game went on.
