How does the AFL split round affect weekly eligibility? Example: Buckley plays for Williamstown on Sunday, can he play for Collingwood the following week?
Can any player who played AFL last round play VFL this week?
This has been mentioned on a site I regularly visit, and my thoughts are that if a CFC player plays for Williamstown this week, it would make him ineligible for the second half of the AFL split round. Under the same reasoning, if an AFL player plays this week, would he be eligible to play for his VFL affiliate next week?
